A thick, slow cream for skin that has been through something: a winter, a course of retinol, a fortnight of bad sleep. Eleven ingredients, three of them peptides. It goes on heavy and disappears in about a minute.

- Warm a pea sized amount between your fingers. It is thicker than it looks and a pea covers a whole face.
- Press it into damp skin rather than rubbing it in.
- Morning and night, after your serum and before sunscreen.
- Around the eye socket is fine. Keep it off the lash line.
The full list, in the order it appears on the box:
Aqua, Glycerin, Squalane, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Kaolin, Niacinamide, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Panthenol, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Copper Tripeptide-1, Ceramide NP, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopherol, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Phytate, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid.
The last four are the emulsifier, the thickener and the preservative system. We count the eleven that do something for your skin, and we list the rest anyway.
Dry, tight or over treated skin, and anyone coming off a course of retinol or acid. It is fragrance free, so it suits reactive skin and it suits people who do not want to smell like a candle.
If your skin runs very oily and you dislike a rich finish, start with the 15 ml before you commit. Safe to use in pregnancy. Never tested on animals.
Twelve months once opened, two years unopened. The batch number and the fill date are printed on the base of the jar, not hidden in a code.
Keep it out of direct sun. A bathroom shelf is fine. A car dashboard in February is not.
